Overview
AURA is a multi-experience entertainment lounge — PC gaming, private screening rooms, massage and a drinks bar — designed and built by Kimbanjang Interior in Ho Chi Minh City.
The brief was to fit four different service types under one roof without any of them feeling like an afterthought. Guests move from a gaming station to a private screening room to a massage suite in a single visit.
The layout separates the four zones — PG cafe, screening rooms, massage rooms and the drinks lounge — while keeping circulation short between them. Each room works on its own, but the venue reads as one place.
Delivered as a full turnkey package, the project covers space planning, acoustic treatment, dark-toned interior finishes, custom furniture, AV and projection, lighting, mechanical and electrical systems, PCCC fire compliance, and final handover.
For a venue mixing gaming, screening and massage in one address, the hard part is not the look — it is getting four floor plans, four acoustic conditions and one fire-safety approval to coexist.
Concept & Idea
The design centres on a members’-lounge feeling, not a bright commercial arcade. Dark walls, warm cove lighting and panelled surfaces set a low-light mood that suits screens and long sessions.
The PG cafe uses high-spec PC stations with ergonomic seating, spaced for privacy rather than packed like a typical PC bang. Fewer seats, more comfort per guest.
The private screening rooms pair large-format screens with modular tan-leather seating. Wainscoting panels and LED cove lighting give each room a residential-luxury feel instead of a black box.
Acoustic separation between rooms was planned from the start — gaming noise, film audio and the massage rooms each need a different sound condition. Wall build-ups and door details were specified accordingly.
The material palette stays consistent across zones: dark timber-look flooring, tan leather, panelled walls, brass sconces and a gold-framed art wall as the lounge anchor.
The concrete facade carries a backlit AURA sign listing the four services — Lounge, PG cafe, Massage, Drinks. Before entering, a guest already knows the venue does more than one thing.
